Easter Basket Ideas

Easter is a time of joy, celebration, and the perfect opportunity to indulge in delightful treats and thoughtful gifts. And what better way to capture the essence of Easter than with a beautifully curated Easter basket? In this guide, we'll show you how to assemble a stunning Easter basket using the cutest handmade felt bunny baskets.

How to put together the sweetest easter basket:

  1. Grab our favorite basket: Lavender & Sage Felt Bunny Basket

This delightful basket is more than just a vessel for collecting eggs and treats, it’s a special heirloom quality item that you can use for your kiddos year after year. Handmade with care and crafted from 100% New Zealand Wool, each basket is large enough to hold all your favorite goodies!

2.  Grab some paper fill and colorful tissue paper. These days you can keep your basket sweet & sustainable by leaving that plastic green fake grass behind and looking for paper shreds. Pack the bottom of your basket with a bunch of “fill” so that your treats will stay on the top. A trick I like to use is to put a small box that I have sitting around at the very bottom and then I just use the crinkle paper on the very top.

3. Fill with favorite sweets

What’s more classic than a chocolate Easter bunny and colorful jelly beans? Remember to keep the recipient in mind when choosing treats. Do they have a favorite candy? These days you can usually find all their favorites in fun spring colors and flavors.

4.  Add a few thoughtful gift items

My first bunny rattle

Little ones love our soft hand crocheted bunny. Each one is handmade in Bangladesh and the little ones love the gentle rattle. It’s sure to be a fast friend that they’ll want to carry all over!

A perfect easter basket includes a few smaller items that will last beyond the season and our Silicone Stacking Rings are a customer favorite! We have sold so many of these and they fit perfectly tucked into our bunny baskets.

Finally tuck our soft, organic Peony Bunny Lovey Blanket in to make this the absolutely perfect easter basket. (Tip: grab 2 in case you ever lose 1 because you know what happens when a little one loses their lovey!)

A little easter board book is another perfect addition to any properly put together Easter Basket.

5. Don’t forget a little note from the Easter Bunny

6.  Wrap with ribbon or a fun bow and tie on one of our Easter themed ornaments, like this sweet little bunny with blue overalls,  that can be used year after year to make the season special.
